Veda Sande is a licensed marriage and family therapist with more than 25 years in private practice. She provides psychotherapeutic counseling to individuals, couples and families.
In addition to her private practice, Ms. Sande has taught Case Conference, Group Dynamics, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy as part of the core curriculum at Phillips Graduate Institute. She has also supervised several cohorts of MFT interns at the California Family Counseling Center, providing direction for fledgling therapists on their way to full licensure.
Ms. Sande was active at the Furthermore Foundation of Tarzana, where she led divorce groups and spoke on parenting issues as part of its Speakers Bureau. She has provided her supervisory services to the Community Outreach Center of Tarzana on a pro bono basis and has also volunteered at the Community Crisis and Guidance Center of Valley Village.
Ms. Sande works collaboratively with her clients to find practical solutions as they reach for their goals. She seeks to create working relationships based on clients’ acceptance of where they are currently, while at the same time helping them move towards positive change.
