Confidentiality is the cornerstone of the therapeutic relationship.  The law protects communication between a client and his or her psychotherapist.  No information discussed in therapy can be disclosed without prior written consent from the client.

The legal exceptions to this rule are as follows:

• In the case of suspected child abuse or in the case of dependent adult or elder abuse, the therapist is required to make the appropriate report to authorities. 
• If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person, the therapist is mandated to notify the police. 
• If a client makes a serious threat of suicide, the therapist will make every effort to create safety, which may include breaking confidentiality.

$225 per 50-minute session.

Payment in full is due at the time of service and may be made by cash or check. 

It is advisable to check with your insurance provider to inquire about mental health coverage.  

At your request, a monthly statement will be provided for you to submit an insurance claim.
